Guardian ad Litem is being biased?
I have a premature 7 month old baby that has special needs. The father has not been involved and his mom is paying for him to serve me. He doesn’t care to know about what to work on with him developmentally, doesn’t know what he eats, when, how much, all he does is come over for an hour and play with him. I try to advice him on what to do and what he needs but he says he doesn’t need to know cause he’s raised a child before. His exes apparently yet he knows nothing about the basics. The other day I took picture proof of neglect on a diaper change he did. My son would of ended up with a diaper rash or even yeast infection. I met the GAL once 3 months ago for an hour in her office. My ex calls her frequently and she does not return my phone calls. In 6 months, my ex still has not filed a parenting plan, financial statement, or the discovery report. He’s pretty much a ghost. I got a letter the other with the guardian suggesting overnights with the father. Any suggestions??
Go back to court and file to get new guardian appointed. If you haven’t already I would suggest getting a lawyer to help you.
