I’ve been diagnosed with high-risk HPV?

In the past two months, I’ve had three UTI’s and 2 PID’s, as well as a few yeast infections. After an abnormal PAP, the doctor tested me for HPV, and found that I have high-risk, cancer-causing HPV (strain 16). I’d like to know what to expect in the future. I’m 24 years-old right now.
Will I be have any issues with conceiving, pregnancy, or childbirth?
Will I pass HPV on to every man I have unprotected sex with?
What daily supplements will help me stay healthy? I am getting chronic infections because of how low my immune system currently is.
What treatment will I need if and when my cells become pre-cancerous?
What are the chances that I will eventually develop cervical cancer?

When you are diagnosed with ‘high risk’ HPV it doesnt mean you are at a higher risk than other people also diagnosed with hpv. It just means that the strain you have is one that can POTENTIALLY cause cancer, rather than the strains that cause genital warts. It doesn’t mean you will get cancer.
Millions of women worldwide are diagnosed with HPV every week. It’s one of the most common STI’s. The fact that you go for your pap tests regularly means that if you do have more abnormal changes, they can be dealt with quickly and efficiently at Colposcopy. They usually use laser treatment to remove the abnormal cells and then test you regularly for up to 10 years (depending on the severity of the changes) to make sure the cells don’t return. Don’t panic when you hear ‘pre-cancerous’ cell changes. It doesn’t mean you’re one step away from having cancer. It’s just a way of explaining the abnormal changes that happen to the cells…a way of saying it’s NOT cancer but if left without being treated for long enough it MIGHT be one day. Even then, it may not progress to that state. It’s believed that only a third of women with abnormal cell changes would become cancerous if left without treatment, a third would stay abnormal but not do anything and a third would go away on their own.
As long as you have your routine pap smears when invited, you should be fine. Any problems can be dealt with and generally, you should have no problems conceiving, with pregnancy or giving birth.
It’s not yet known if the virus stays in your system for ever (like Herpes Simplex Virus does) so the current thought is that if you have had negative paps for 10 consecutive years then you can assume you don’t have it anymore.
You won’t necessarily pass it on to every man you have sex with but at the moment, you should play safe and use protection. Please don’t worry about it so much. It’s very common. Worrying won’t change anything and it doesn’t help your immune system to recover. It can hamper it.
Eat healthily, have a look at diet issues with regard to the recurrent yeast infections as certain foods can be fuel for yeast to thrive on. Try to keep stress to a minimum if possible. Gve your body plenty of rest as it needs it to heal itself and fight off infections.

Edit: In response to the previous persons answer regarding the HPV shot, I suspect that having it now is a bit like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted…so I doubt that this is about the doctor trying to get you to have it.
The shot is to protect girls from getting HPV in the first place.
