The Worst Four Foods for Your Yeast Infection
Any woman who is suffering with a painful and embarrassing yeast infection should be aware that there are four foods you totally must stay away from if you ever want to clear up your problem for good. Although it may be called a yeast infection the scientific name for the ailment is Candidiasis. That is because it is an overgrowth in the body of the fungus named Candida albicans. There are actually three common white foods or ingredients that are metabolized by the body very similarly to sugar. In addition to flour, they are white potatoes and white rice. Making some simple substitutions of products made with whole wheat flour instead of white flour, sweet potatoes or yams instead of white potatoes and brown rice instead of white rice will go a long way toward lowering the glycemic index of foods you are eating, and will slow down your candidiasis instead of fanning the flames.
