Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is one of the most common causes of vaginal infections. To most, it is called vaginal bacteriosis. It is not generally know to be a sexually transmitted disease, although, should a woman that has BV have bisexual or lesbian sex with another female, it will more than likely be transmitted.
