Recurrent Strep B Infection?

I thought I had a really bad yeast infection for about a month and a half and my PCP has precibed me Diflucan several times but with no avail. Finally, I went to a gynecologist and they did a culture and found out I had a strep b infection. They prescribed me penicillin and it magically went away for about a week and a half. Then I got my period and as soon as it ended I started to get the symptoms again. I went back to the gynecologist and this time they prescibed me amoxicillin 500 mg to take twice a day for 7 days. I have looked everywhere on the internet for more information on strep B infection but most of the results are regarding infants and pregnant women ( I am not pregnant). Does anyone have any advise or similiar experiences?!!

Amoxycillin is penicillin just to let you know darling. I had a bit of trouble finding this website WITHOUT the pregnancy part. Give it a go…
