Systemic Yeast Infections Diet
Yeast Infection Diet – Four Important Guidelines To Treat Yeast Infection Successfully!
You have to understand Yeast Infection first to treat it successfully. It is undoubtedly a complicated infection with lots of causes and symptoms. It is also a hugely irritating and horrible condition. Looking at Yeast Infection Diet, however, can be of great benefit.
So What Is A Yeast Infection?
It’s basically a simple yeast called Candida Albicans, a fungus, growing out of control and multiplying throughout your body causing many horrible symptoms such as severe itching, rashes and odorous discharges. It can make your joints ache and cause swelling. Feeling rundown and lethargic are other common symptoms as well as headaches and brain fog. It can even cause your toenails to thicken and yellow!
What Causes This To Happen?
There can be many reasons and among the most common are over using Antibiotics, a poor immune system, unsuitable hygiene and using products that are too strong or perfumed. However, a major factor is diet. Following a Yeast Infection Diet is one of the most powerful parts of a complete holistic approach which is the only permanent and recommended way of totally banishing a Yeast Infection.
Let’s Look At Four Useful Diet Suggestions!
* When you eat lots of junk food or fast food – food that has been refined and altered and had its innate goodness removed you promote an acidic state in your blood. Meat and dairy products are also big contributors to this. Now, your blood should actually be just over neutral – 7 on the PH scale in order for your body to function at its best. Many diseases and bad bacteria flourish in this wrong acidic environment, which gives rise to the ideal background for Candida to multipy overtly. Foods that encourage alkalinity are vegetables, particularly green ones and it is those you should eat instead. Fruit, which although citrus fruit can be acidic outside the body it is actually alkaline promoting when digested, which is a bit confusing! Eating lots of wholefoods like brown rice, nuts and grains is great as they have all their nutrients in place still. Sprouted seeds and vegetable juices, especially wheatgrass juice are also advised.
* Dairy products and especially cows milk are best avoided. These can be really difficult to digest and can be hugely mucous forming. They may also contain Antibiotics which kill the good bacteria in your body enabling the yeast to flourish. They can contribute in a big way to Yeast Infection. There are lots of excellent vegan alternatives. Of special mention are oat, rice and nut milks.
* Too much sugar. A big no no! Excess sugar feeds and encourages Candida Albicans to grow like crazy! Reducing sugar intake, or even cutting it out, can only impact well on your overall health and well being. Refined sugar in cakes, chocolate and so on has no nutrients of use to your body at all. Much better to eat natural sweets like fruits.
* Candida Albicans is a yeast – a fungus. It’s not a great idea to encourage it by eating even more fungi! Best to cut down on, or eliminate foods like mushrooms and condiments like white vinegar that contain yeast or mould.
Paying heed to these details in a Yeast Infection Diet can be highly beneficial. However, as we discussed earlier, a Yeast Infection is a multi faceted infection so can only be truly conquered for good by following a complete Holistic Plan. Using diet as a major part of a holistic approach can bring swift relief!
