I am 42 – had a baby in 4/06 and had my tubes tied by my OBGYN. I was diagnoised in my 30s with premature menopause. Since my tubes have been tied – I have been having pretty regular periods – except 2 months ago – when I had three cycles in one month. I havent had a period since Mid August and I am scared to death that I might be pregnant. I took a home pregnancy test a week ago but it was negative. I have been experiencing morning sickness, some abdominal discomfort and hemmroids – also increase in headaches and vaginal discharge (almost like a yeast infection)
I am debabating wheather to run get another test -
It is possible. I have a friend who is the product of a woman who had a tubal and a man who had a vasectomy. The chances are slim, but they are still there. Having already had a child, you know well that early care can be crucial during pregnancy. I suggest you go buy a test. If it is negative and you still feel like something is off-kilter after a week, you need to visit your doctor. If it is positive, well you know what do to.
