Yeast Infections And Yogurts
Is Activia a good yogurt for yeast infection?
I want to try to plain Activia, it has the cultures that my doc recommended, is it a good daily yogurt and help prevent yeast and bring back my pH balance? I have alot of discharge and yeast and the doc says I need to increase my yogurt intake and eat less carbs.

It can help if you are trying to prevent them. Make sure that you get a yogurt free of sugar (or at least low). Eating sugar here and there is okay, but if you are prone to yeast infections than you need to cut back on the amount of sweets you eat since yeast thrive on sugar.
There is also lactobacillus acidophilus pills that you can take which is the same culture in yougurt. You can find them at most any drugstore.
Also, not sure if your doc mentioned this, but if you take a lot of bubble baths sometimes that can contribute to yeast infections if you are sensitive.
