Yeast Infections Before Menstrual Cycles

February 18th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

Earlier period, yeast infection, now ANOTHER period????

My period came 4 days earlier this month (I was stressing wtih school finals/presentations). I noticed a fishy ‘BV’ smell on this past saturday (9 days after the START of my prd. for this month)

To stop it before It became out of control, I purchased a yeast med (mitocondrzole) (sp?) Sunday afternoon I noticed that I was bleeding. I don’t have any cramps or any associated effects of a menstrual cycle. Has this every happened to anyone and should I be worried?

I only used the cream saturday night.

BV needs antiobiotics to cure, so I’d suggest seeing your doctor. As for your bleeding…especially during stressful times…periods can be weird, you may bleed to much or not at all. With no cramping or pain associated, it’s probably nothing to worry about.
