Yeast Infections Brown Discharge
really strange yeast infection with pink discharge?
I had what I thought to be a yeast infection january 29th so i took that pill that gets rid of it, diflucan i believe is the name of it. the yeast infection was never bad it was just kinda itchy and really not alot of discharge at all and it was never thick and like cottage cheese like yeast infection discharge is.
january 30 I was having sex and looked down and there and i seen a small amount of light pink brown blood (my period is not due until around february 16th) i went to the bathroom and it was hardly none really. the next day I wore a panty liner to monitor it and it was light pink discharge and not much of it at all mixed with white and i had one strand of brown looked kinda like old blood, that lasted two days.
so what could this be? i hate to go to the doctor over nothing. i am sexually active- we do not use condoms, just pull out and im not on birthcontrol. i know its not an std because we have both been checked before we started having sex.
I would go take a pregnancy test because i thought i had a yeast infection .. which i did.. and i heard that yeast infections are caused by hormonal changes.. so i picked up a pregnancy test also.. and sure enough.. im pregnant lol! but thats my opinion. I got dark discharge and a little bit of blood also. Gross huh. Good Luck!
