Is it truly normal to have discharge with out having a yeast infection or is it a yeast infection ?

Is it normal to have a clear discharge almost white. It doesnt burn, its not swollen and it doesnt stink it does have a smell to it but i cant say that is a bad smell i itch ocassionaly around the top were my pubic hairs are at but never down there i did get a couple of times a kinda yellowish discharge but it didnt smell is that normal discharge or is it a yeast infection iam just wondering cause its been going on for years

It is normal as long as it isn’t white, chunky and cottage cheese like.
