Diflucan and Yeast Infections?
After an extremely strong dose of antibiotics and I have bad yeast infections. I got one two weeks ago and I used Monistat for 3 days but it did not clear it up totally and because I react so badly to Monistat (burns as badly as the infection), I got Diflucan a week ago. It felt totally improvement but then my period started and after it finished, I can feel an inkling of a yeast infection. Will it be too dangerous to take another Diflucan?
No, you can follow up with another Diflucan. My doctor often prescribes them in twos or threes, saying that sometimes you need a follow up dose after the original dose. So, this is normal and okay.
