Yeast Infections Length
Strange Spotting?
I tracked all of my periods last year in 2007. My average cycle length was about every 42 days or every 6 weeks. Strangely, my first period came the 5th of January 2008. Last week I got the flu and I was put on an antibiotic called Azithromycin. This antibiotic gave me a yeast infection. So I used Monistat last night. I woke up this morning with a very light pink discharge. I thought it was the medicine at first, but I’ve been discharging pink blood all day. It’s not dark and it’s not that heavy either. I know it’s not my period. It’s way too early. My last period was approximately 20 dyas ago. What could this be?
Oh and did I have intercourse last week.
See if it goes by tomorrow, otherwise go to your doctor and ask him to do a smear test. Abnormal spotting can be a sign of abnormal cells in the cervix and the smear can catch them early. Better to be safe than sorry. I had something similar a few years ago but i’m fine now : ) good luck xx
