Yeast Infections Lower Abdominal Pain
Yeast infection or STD?
What would you consider the following symptoms to indicate?
Inflamed cervix
Pain during Intercourse
Yellowish discharge
Lower abdominal pain
Much appreciated 
Had a Pap smear a few months back; she found no real problems, but did point out it was inflamed.
this definitly doesn’t sound like just a yeast infection. Yeast would provide a white clumpy d/c… sometimes yeast is runny and can be many different colors… but when you add in the lower abdominal pain and pain with sex… I would strongly recommend you go for further evaluation by a health care professional. if you have an odor.. could be trich, but this could be pelvic inflammatory disease which is typically caused by gonorheea and chlaymidia. PID can lead to you damaging your ability to have children in the future. you would need antibiotic treatment for yourself and your partner… and to not have sex until everyone has completed their antibiotics
